Find and join one of the many Invasion Day rallies happening in towns and cities across Australia on January 26th 2018.

Invasion Day protests are growing year on year and with more and more pressure, we look to be getting very close to a turning point where Australia gets real in regards to respecting Indigenous people in Australia. We have already seen public opinion begin to swing which has seen a number of local councils scrap official Australia Day celebrations. However there is more that must be done as the Federal government still believes that Invasion Day rallies can be ignored. Check out the list below for an event near you.

Join the Invasion Day 2018 #AbolishAustraliaDay rally being organised by the Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance collective. Melbourne protests have been the largest Invasion Day protests in recent years with some even following on after the Australia Day Parade which leaves new citizens with an understanding of Australia’s unfinished business.

When: 11am – Parliament of Victoria steps.

Meanjin (Brisbane)

Join the Meanjin (Brisbane) Invasion Day rally. Rallies in Brisbane are some of the largest seen in Australia and 2018 looks to be even bigger.

Join the official Invasion Day 2018 Perth rally. Rallies in Perth are often met with an over the top police presence but don’t let that deter you from heading out. There is a core group of activists who know exactly how to keep everyone on both sides in line.

Join the Invasion Day 2018 march in Canberra. Join the rally that will head over the Commonwealth bridge and over to the Aboriginal Tent Embassy for a smoking ceremony.
