Crayola has just announced the release of their latest “colours of the world” crayon series.
It’s not the first time Crayola has produced multicultural crayons however they have really stepped up their game this time with no less than 24 skin shades, 4 hair shades and 4 eye shades.
This time around, Crayola has teamed up with, Victor Casale, who is a leading cosmetics expert who has worked with a number of International make-up brands including MAC and CoverFX.
The dream from Crayola is simple… they want every child to have the opportunity to draw themselves and the ones they love in a colour that truly reflects their skin tone. To make that even easier; the box will have a colour chart (as shown above) on the side of each box.
The colours of the world range are due for release in July 2020. They will be available in a 24 skin tone pack and a 32 Skin, Hair & Eye tone pack. The first release will be in Walmart stores and on Crayola’s own website. Unfortunately both of these options do not allow for international delivery, so we will need to wait for Crayola to distribute this new range with international suppliers before they become available elsewhere.
