Earlier this week Australians learned of a multitude of statistics from the 2016 national census. But what about the data that is related to Indigenous Australia?
The video featured above takes a look at some of the key data that shows some clear improvement in a number of areas from health to education. The data also helps answer some very frequently asked questions such as how many people today can speak an Indigenous language and even how many people identify as both Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander. We all know how important it is for these numbers to improve in order to close the gap. Will these numbers see significant change if Australia does not address the elephant in the room?
