Virgin joins forces with Aboriginal land owners to protect Great Barrier Reef

Virgin Australia have teamed up with Aboriginal land owners in ongoing efforts to protect the Great Barrier Reef.

The project is a joint project run by Greening Australia who are leading the Reef Aid program that aims to help strengthen and clean the coastal region of far north Queensland. Mungalla station has long been identified as a key flagship site for the project. Virgin Australia are honouring the work done by Traditional owners by naming one of their aircraft after the iconic Mungalla station.
