It was an emotion charged night when Yarrabah Seahawks won their first ever A Grade premiership in the Cairns District Rugby League competition. The game started off nervously as Innisfail took an early 10 point lead. It was the early shock they needed as the men from Yarrie electrified Barlow park in Cairns on with the exciting brand of football they are known for.
This is the Seahawk’s first A grade premiership in the clubs 17 year history.
Yarrabah also took out the reserve grade title which now brings their total number of premierships in all grades to a total of 5.
