Vision has been sent in to us from Arnhem land where one Yolngu man claims to have his very own wild pet crocodile.

The vision was recorded in the coastal community of Bawaka in north eastern Arnhem Land. The crocodile is said to visit the beach regularly where it is treated with respect and caution. The Gumatj clan have a deep respect for Crocodiles (Baru). Not only do they view crocodiles as kin, they also see crocodiles as protectors of community members.

Dima plays with Nike just like you might play with your pet dog or cat. In the following video you can see Nike turning his back on a tasty fish. Nike seems to be fed up with the game and heads back to the water in frustration.

Or perhaps Nike was already full. As you can see below, Nike is a very well rounded crocodile who is also blessed with a beautiful smile.
